I'm not very happy with my Easter tablescape either (see previous post about my disappointing Easter mantle). Maybe I'm just not an Easter decor person. I normally don't decorate in pastels although I do love them. So maybe I'm just having trouble working with the Easter color palate. But I thought I'd share my Easter tablescape before I undo it and start working on the next one which I hope will turn out so much better!
I knew I wanted to do an Easter tree. My aunt got me the fabulous sparkly egg garland and the egg ornaments and I needed the perfect branch to hang them on. My bf and I went hiking a few weeks ago and I found this one. I live in an apartment so branches aren't readily available. So he was sweet enough to carry this one for me for the remainder of our hike. I used colorful marble rocks (my go-to filler) to stablize the branch. I had the green and blue polka dot fabric left over from a Pickles and Ice Cream baby shower I co-hosted last summer. So I put it all on the table and here is the finished product.

Love your pretty eggs, and the egg tree is such a pretty idea. They look just gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
It looks great! I am sucker for anything glitter, and I love the multi-color vase filler you used to hold up your branch. Thanks so much for linking up to my Easter party!
I love your stuff, but I hear you about the pastels, I like them, but it doesn't really go with the rest of my house, so I think I'll try more neutrals. LOVE your filled vase, Lezlee
Nice job, I like your Easter tree -- and don't be so hard on yourself!!!
Hugs, Beth
Love your Easter egg tree.
A wonderful egg tree for Easter and I like your addition of the feathers too!
How cute...I love the Easter eggs and feathers! Happy Easter

And, whats wrong with it? Looks nice! The pale pink of the feathers is pefect to the candles and the little mat on the table. And this soft colored marble rocks look like little candyeggs in the vase. I like it!
Have a nice Eastertime,
Johanna
Those egg trees are so popular this year. A friend of mine is doing one for her family party. I'll send her over to look at yours..
Such pretty colors you used.
Happy Easter

Well, I still think this is great! I do understand the switch to pastels...I don't normally decorate muchw tih them, either, except in my daughter's room....so it takes some getting used to, but I honestly think you should be proud of yourself!
Hugs, L
Such Great details in the tree. So cute.
Great seasonal colors and a clever idea. Happy Easter. -- Jane F.
